Octo”bear” Day {continued}

Since Friday was the official first day of October we all brought our favorite teddy bears from home to use for lots of fun teddy bear themed activities.  First we introduced our special friends to the class. 

Then we worked with a partner and used a Venn Diagram to compare & contrast how our bears were the same and how they were different.

            

We made a sentence wheel about bears and wrote {and illustrated} “beary” good sentences.  While we were working we enjoyed a “beary” good snack thanks to the families who donated Teddy Graham’s at the beginning of the year.    We ended the day by making a cute Octo”bear” art project to hang in the hallway.
