{short} u sound

This week we are learning to build and read words that make the {short} u sound. 

Here’s a fun video link we watched on Monday to introduce the sound.

Today we made {short} u lunch boxes during center time. 

First we sound spelled all of the words. 

Then we cut out the pictures that made the {short} u sound and glued them inside our lunchbox.       Learning about the {short} u sound is fun, fun, fun!!!
