We’re BACK!!!

After a relaxing two week break we were back in full force today.  It was fun to hear about all the special Christmas gifts everyone received and the fun trips some of us took.  We didn’t waste much time getting started though.  We have lots of new skills to cover this week.  In reading we got our new set of sight words and lightning words for the week and  began learning how to blend and read words with digraphs (th, sh, wh and ch).  We spent some time during guided reading highlighting the digraphs in our stories and then reading the books aloud as a group and with partners.
