This morning our class finally got the chance to buy things with all of the “Star Bucks” we have been collecting since the beginning of the year. They earn star bucks for things such as: completing their homework each night, good behavior, exhibiting our Maize Way character traits in the classroom and as rewards for winning games that we play at guided reading. Everyone came in with such a big smile on their face because they have been awaiting this day for several weeks. One student even said “the best day of my life is about to begin”. How cute is that!!!
