Today was “Red Day” in our first grade class. We began the day by coloring a red monster and writing a sentence about something that is red. After our first math & reading lesson we enjoyed some yummy red fruit snacks. Then we read Clifford The Big Red Dog and made our very own Clifford to take home. After lunch we read Mary Wore Her Red Dress and made a class book that you can look at when you come to conferences. Finally we ended the day by reading The Little Red Hen and doing a sequencing activity with pictures from the story.

Mrs. B, as out of state Grandparents we appreciate the time, effort and energy that goes into the Blog. Thank you so much for sharing their day. It will be fantastic following Lukas in his big 1st grade class!
