Last week we had a very fun filled week wrapping up our alphabet unit. To celebrate mastery of our letter sounds we did center activities that were ABC themed.
Here’s a little {sneak} peek. . .
We also read lots of popular ABC themed books and did writing activities to go along with them. We will be sharing all of the class ABC books we made throughout the week with you at conferences.
We ended the week by having a class Potluck. We read Potluck by Anne Selby and Alligator Arrived with Apples. Then we had a yummy celebration. Each child brought a snack to share with the class that started with the first letter of their first name.

I love your ideas. I found your blog sometime last year. I was wondering do you ever post your activities on TPT.
Hi there,
I have awarded you with the Versatile blog award. Head over to my blog to check it out!!
Also do you make a cute post like your post recent one? i.e. with a cute background?

Thanks so much for checking in on our little class blog. Most of the activities that you see are available on TPT. Here's a link to my store:

Thank you SO much Miss J. What an honor!!! I have another blog called Made For 1st Grade that I coauthor with a good friend. She also received this honor so we will be working together to recognize the teachers who choose us and take part in the Versatile blog award. We have conferces going on this week so it may be later in the week before we get to it.
Thanks again!!!

I really enjoy your blog(s) and your TPT store. I have several items and several more on my wish list. I really like that you are so close to home as well. Makes me feel like neighbors and hopeful for our little central states.
Thanks for all you do.
