Tomorrow is "Ladybug Day". We will be learning all about the lifecycle of the ladybug, reading The Grouchy Ladybug by Eric Carle and doing an activity about telling time to the hour and 1/2 hour, reviewing compound words and solving ladybug addition problems. We will also read Ladybug's Birthday and write our very own ladybug stories. Everyone is encouraged to wear red and black.Also, if you haven't sent the $1.50 to help cover the cost of the Mother's Day gifts please send it tomorrow (Friday, May 1st) with your child. We are going to begin working on our projects on Monday.
Tomorrow is also HAT DAY. Your child should have brought home a note earlier in the week. For a 25 cent donation, which will go to the family from our school that lost their home in a fire, your child can wear a hat to show their support.
